The Happy Athlete

With horse welfare at the forefront of everyone's minds we bring together many different experts to help your horse to perform as a 'Happy Athlete' within your chosen discpline.

The Main Arena will see live demos (showcasing both flatwork and jumping) from Visconte Simon Cocozza and Rui Campeao.

Other speakers will include vets, saddlers, farriers, grooms and many more.

11.00 - Tim Froydenland - Common Ailments Caused by Poor Posture and Core Strength

11.10 - Simon Cocozza & Rui Campeao - working horses from the ground

11.30 - Simon Cocozza - Ridden Core Strengthening Exercises and Ridden Jump exercise followed by a discussion on Ethical training methods

12.30 - Pick & Mix - over the lunch break a selction of talks by a varity of specialists including: Tim Froydenland (Fyrnwy Vets), Lorna Edgar (Bailey's Horse Feed), Sally Prichard (Equissage), Libby McGann (Liv Life Saddles), Mike Kiernan (Uppington Smithy), Gill Batt (Horse bit Advice), Jill Hick (Quantum Bridles), Norman Stalker (New Movement Solutions), Clare Pearson (Easibed), Sarah Dakin (WildWood Worm Counts)

13.30 - Rui Campeao - Training The Happy Athlete, Rui will be working with ponies, a Welsh and an Iberian from Novice to Advanced.
