The Extravaganza has a mixed range of classes on offer including ridden and in-hand sections, entries will be taken in advance via Horse Monkey.
Then on the day of the show you will compete in your chosen classes, which will be pre-judged, with no results being awarded until the evening. Placing will be from 1st -10th and we also have 11 championships on offer, including the new Red, White and Blue wild card championships.
You will then be invited to return in the evening in your evening attire and follow the programmed format under lights and music to receive your placings!
Our judges are selected from the top names within the showing world, giving those of you who take part a chance to compete under ‘out of county’ judges, creating a ‘Horse of the Year Show’ feel that many only ever dream of competing at.

Riders can wear dark coloured jackets or tweeds, white stocks etc. Leaders can wear dresses, black tie basically anything sparkly. Go mad and bling it up!!!!

The organisers and each of the show’s officers, servants or agents shall not be in any way responsible or accountable for any loss, injury or damage that may happen (from any cause or circumstances whatsoever) to exhibitors or their servants or agents or other members of the public, to any animal or property, or to any vehicle brought onto the showground, or on premises used in conjunction with the show, or while entering or leaving, or for anything else in conjunction with, or arising out of, or attributable to the show.
2. This show is run under the showing and competition rules of the National Pony Society (NPS). 3. In all classes the judge’s decision is final.
4. Any person wishing to lodge a protest having reference to any persons or exhibit, shall do so in writing within 30 minutes of the completion of the class and at the same time shall deposit a sum of £50. If the investigation by the committee shows the protest is not sustained, the deposit shall be forfeited to the funds of the show. The committee’s decision will be final.
5. All Mountain and Moorland ponies must be registered with their respective breed society and be shown in accordance with their individual society rules.
6. The organisers reserve the right to amend the judges’ panel and order of classes if it should become necessary.
7. The committee cannot be held responsible for the clashing of classes therefore competitors should bear this in mind when making their entries. No entry fees will be refunded.
8. The committee reserves the right to amalgamate classes if deemed necessary.
9. The committee reserves the right to refuse entries without giving a reason.
10. The committee reserves the right to retain all or part of the entry fees in the event of the show being cancelled.
11. Rider’s and handler’s age, attire and equipment must comply with NPS showing and competition rules at the time of the show.
12. No pony under the age of 4 may compete in any ridden class.
13. Spurs are not allowed in any ridden class.
14. Anyone found mistreating a horse or pony might be asked to leave the showground and be reported to the appropriate body.
15. All dogs must be kept on a lead.
16. Privacy Statement: Information from entry forms will be stored on a secure server and the name & address and details of entries will be published in the catalogue (if applicable). Results information, including photographs may be published (in printed form and online) both to the press, other societies and showing organisations and in the Society’s publications. Information may be supplied to DEFRA, trading standards and veterinary advisors if requested by them. Entry information will be uploaded to our Showing Scene show management account.
