Notes

Leonie is passionate about working with horses without fear or pain and enjoys working with riders of all levels. Horse welfare is always paramount as well as making learning fun and in small steps for both the horses and riders.

Sessions are semi-private and will run with two in each group.

Leonie has been running the successful Daneswood Dressage for over 20 years and has competed in over 40 National and regional championships. She has a talent for training various breeds of horses. Her Friesian Rommert HW trained to Grand Prix and competed at PSG and her current pony Nelson is a Welsh Section D competing at PSG. Leonie has trained several horses to advanced level as well as producing International Para horses. Leonie is committed to helping people enjoy training their horses and has completed several courses including British Dressage Accredited UKCC level 3 Charlie Unwins Applied Psychology for Equestrian coaches and BD National Development Program for Coaching Excellence. She continues to learn every day and is always developing her skills in new ways. She specialises in treating every horse and rider as individuals and always adjusts the training to suit you and your horse. She has over 25 years experience working with all breeds and levels of rider from race horses to Iberians and ponies. Her aim is always to leave you feeling motivated and that you can leave the session having learnt something new with the ability to reproduce it again for yourself!
