Lucy Jackson 5* rider, level 3 BE coach and member of the New Zealand High Performance Programme has a host of International experience and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with you all. Spike Milligan who is the British Youth Performance Vet and worked as an FEI Treating Vet and Veterinary Delegate at events including London 2012 as well as being a regular feature on the Equiratings eventing podcast.
Both Lucy and Spike have a passion for helping, developing and educating riders as well as ensuring both they, and their horses or ponies, achieve their full potential.
The first webinar session will cover FEI requirements pre-event, fitness plans and everything you need to know in the run up to your first short or long format international competition. The second webinar will include everything you need to know whilst at your first international from the format, on-event rules, warm up and cool downs through to the care of your horse whilst at the event and other top tips to make sure you and your horse have the best experience!
There will be plenty of time for questions so we would love for you to join us for a fun and fact-filled evening which will also count towards the sign off for you’re the Howden Way modules.
Cancellation Policy for Training Events and Activities
This cancellation policy is applicable to all British Eventing (BE) training events /activities, unless otherwise specified.

This cancellation policy is applicable to all British Eventing (BE) training events /activities, unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation by the Participant

• The cancellation date is the email receipt date
• Administration fee is £10
• Cancellations greater than 7 days before the start of the training day (9am) will receive a full refund minus the administration fee
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the training day (9am) will not receive any refund
• Non-attendance will not receive a refund. Unavoidable circumstances may be assessed on an individual basis at the discretion of the coach
• Refunds will be processed via bank transfer or payal, whichever is appropriate
• Substitutions will be accepted at no extra charge up to 72 hours in advance of the training session. Any substitutions or cancellations after this point will not accepted or refunded
• If a participant wishes to transfer from one training event / activity to another, this is treated as cancellation and rebooking and the policy above applies
Cancellation by British Eventing
• If a training session is cancelled by BE a full refund will be provided
• BE reserves the right to cancel or postpone the training events and activities if insufficient attendees have booked on by the closing date
• BE will endeavor to inform all participants of cancellation or postponement as soon as possible
• BE is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred by participants whether arising directly or indirectly from cancellation, including, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing: stabling fees, or travel charges that might be incurred
