Notes
The Northern Liaison Group (BRC Area 3) are opening up their Horse Trials qualifier to all competitors - you do not need to be a member of an Area 3 club, or a riding club member at all, in order to compete.
Times will be available no later than the evening of Wednesday 10th May. They will also be published on the Area 3 website and facebook.
Important information may be shared on the website and facebook, so please do keep an eye on them in the lead up to the event.
The Dressage and Show Jumping phases will be on a surface.

Please note the following General Rules:
1. All classes will be run in accordance with the 2023 British Riding Clubs Rule Book.
2. Horses/ponies must be 5 years and over on 1st January in the current year.

3. No horse/pony may compete in more than one section.
4. Protective headwear, to BRC standards, must be worn at all times with the harness correctly adjusted and fastened. Protective headwear must show a current visible BRC/BE/PC hat tag. Hat tagging will be available at the qualifier.
5. Body protectors are compulsory for the cross country phase. A BETA Level 3 displaying a 2009 or after Purple label or a 2018 or after Blue label must be worn. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector.
6. Medical Armbands are strongly recommended for the cross country phase. If worn they must be on the arm and not on the leg.
