**QUALIFERS FOR THE LONDON INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW
** Important Information **
Whilst we will make every effort to keep to the Timetable, exhibitors are reminded that it is a guideline only – and was compiled well before entries were open! Therefore, we reserve the right to amend timings and ring allocations if necessary. We will announce changes if they become necessary!
It is the responsibility of exhibitors to arrive at the Show field in sufficient time for the commencement of their classes. Classes will not commence prior to any given “Not before” timings. Bridgend Country Show Ltd will not accept responsibility for any exhibitor missing their classes and no entry fees will be refunded in this instance.
Where no “Not before times” are given, Classes will follow on.
Anyone abusing Judges, Stewards or other Officials will be required to leave the Show field – we are giving up our time so you can enjoy yourselves.
Objections must be lodged with the Secretary within 30 minutes of the Class closing and must be accompanied by a £20.00 non-refundable fee. All objections will be judged on their merit. Objections relating to Society classes will be referred to the relevant Society before any judgement is reached.
Please note: All Societies receive copies of the entries prior to the Show running. So entrants will have been checked. It is Not Acceptable for exhibitors to alter entries to non-registered horses or riders on the day and breaches of this will be reported to the relevant Society and you will be disqualified. So please don’t do it.
Parking for horse boxes and trailers will be on the in front of you as you enter the Show field. Vehicles must be parked under the direction of the stewards. The gates will be open from 7.00am on both Show days.
Petrol generators are not permitted.
Please do not muck out your lorries / trailers onto the field – and take your litter home with you!! There are bins provided and clearly marked throughout the Showfields
All vehicles admitted, along with their contents are left entirely at the owners risk.
Protective headgear MUST be worn by anyone riding a horse/pony for any reason. This must comply with the relevant standards in force and must be correctly fastened. This applies to everyone – no exceptions. Anyone not complying will be asked to leave the Show field. Bridgend Country Show Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury arising from a failure to comply with this regulation
Sensory Whiskers – please refer to any rulings made by the Society under which you intend to exhibit.
Equine passports and vaccinations: all horses / ponies should have received at least one vaccination before entering any showing classes (foals excepted) . Yearly vaccinations are acceptable. Random passports checks may be undertaken.
Prize Monies :
Affiliated Classes : 1st £15.00 2nd £10.00 3rd £8.00
Unaffiliated Classes : 1st £10.00 2nd £8.00 3rd £5.00
Prize money will be paid out as follows :
3 catalogued entries in class 1st Prize Money only
5 catalogued entries in class 1st and 2nd prize monies only
7 or more catalogued entries in class 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize monies.
Rosettes will be awarded to 4th in all classes.
Prize money will be awarded with rosettes in the ring

London International Horse Show Qualifiers - Entries are subject to an £10 additional levy per class
First Aid Fees are not included in entry fees.
The First Aid Fee is £5.00.
No entries will be accepted without payment of this fee.

Late entries are not accepted and will be returned !!!
Entry Closing date is June 24th at midnight.
This Show offers qualification for THE NATIONAL WELSH CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW. 6th August 2023. 3 Counties Showground, Malvern. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Subject to Clause 1.2 Bridgend Country Show Limited, its Directors, committee, officers, employees, agents or subcontractors (together the “Show”) will not be liable for or accountable to any person for:
(a) any accident or injury, fatal or otherwise, or for any disease, damage or loss that may occur to any person.
(b) any theft, damage, destruction or loss of property.
(c) loss or damage that may occur to or be caused by any animal, article or vehicle exhibited or brought on to the Showground or car parks
.
1.2) Nothing in this disclaimer shall limit or exclude the Association’s liability for:
(a) death or personal injury or damage to property caused by negligence on the part of the Show
(b) any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for the Show to exclude or restrict liability.
1.3) Each exhibitor, competitor, its employees, agents, or subcontractors (together the “Exhibitor”) shall be held solely liable for any accident, loss, injury or damage that may occur to or be caused by any animal, article, vehicle or property exhibited or brought on to the Showground or car parks by the Exhibitor.
1.4) The Exhibitor shall indemnify and keep the Show indemnified against all liabilities, losses, costs, expenses and damages, including a claim made against the Show by a third party for death, personal injury or damage to property (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal and other professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by the Show as a result of or in connection with any animal, article, vehicle or property brought on to the Showground or car parks by the Exhibitor.
1.5) Acceptance of the provisions of this disclaimer shall be a condition of entry.
1.6) The Exhibitor will have in force, maintain and comply with the terms of its own appropriate insurance (with a minimum limit of £5 million per claim for Public, Products and Pollution Liability) to cover all risks and liabilities which the Exhibitor may incur.
1.7) The Show reserves to itself by its Directors or with the authority of that body the Chairman of the Committee the sole and absolute right to interpret these or any other prescribed conditions and regulations and arbitrarily to settle and determine all matters questions or differences in regard thereto or otherwise arising out of or connected with or incidental to the Show. Also to refuse and to cancel any entries and relax any conditions or regulations as the Show may deem expedient.
1.8) The Show reserves to its directors and committee the sole right of decision to postpone, cancel, abandon or curtail the Show. Where such decision arises from events outside of the control of the Show, the Show shall not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of reputation, all interests and penalties financial or otherwise arising thereby, nor for the refund of any fees and charges paid.
1.9) Subject to clause 1.2, the Association’s maximum aggregate liability (for breach of contract or arising in tort or on any other basis whatsoever) shall be limited to the entry fee paid by the Exhibitor
