CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Entries will NOT BE ACCEPTED unless accompanied by the correct fees (and must include first aid tariff of £4 per competitor).
On the Day Entries (where eligible – see schedule of classes for details) may be taken with a surcharge of £5.
British Showjumping Exhibits Only - No entries will be taken on the day. In the event of insufficient entries Rule 76.6 will be adhered to in all classes.
Payment – If paying via cheque, these must be made payable to The Cheshire Horse Show Ltd.
Owners may enter as many horses as they wish, and all competitors are open unless stated otherwise in the schedule.
Amendments to Entries - Under no circumstances will entries be changed, substituted or amended once received. Any entries received after the closing date will be subject to the additional fee. Entries will only be accepted on the official entry form. In the event of a horse or pony being unable to compete through illness, accident or the like, the Society will refund the whole of the entry fee on production of a Veterinary Certificate, (except in the case of British Showjumping exhibits, which are provided for under British Showjumping rules – please refer to British Showjumping rule book).
2 PRIZE MONEY: No prize money will be given out without production of the Exhibitors number, rosette and class number. Prize money will only be awarded once results have been received by the Treasurer. In the Light horse classes (excluding RIHS/LIHS qualifying classes) where there are less than 6 entries, prize money will be awarded to 1st place only. ALL PRIZE MONEY MUST BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW OTHERWISE IT WILL BE FORFEITED.
3 REFUNDS: Showing Exhibits Only - NO REFUND OF ENTRIES WILL BE GIVEN, except in the event of unforeseen cancellation of the show, when a £5.00 levy will be deducted from each entry to cover Administration costs. British ShowJumping Exhibits Only - Please note there will be no refunds given 72 hours prior to the show taking place. In the event of unforeseen cancellation of the show, a £5 administration charge will be deducted from each entry.
4. Parking - Exhibitor’s boxes and Exhibits must stand in the space allocated for their purposes. The Society will strictly enforce this condition.
Horse boxes will be checked on entry to the showground and any additional passengers, with the exception of Owner/Rider/Groom will be charged a discounted rate of £5.00 per person. Please have the correct money available to help keep the traffic flow moving.

Exhibits to be on showground half an hour before judging.
5. Rosettes: Rosettes to 3rd place will be awarded.
6 Trophies - All trophies must be returned in good condition at least one month prior to the date of the next Show.
7. Hats: A ‘Riding Hat’, designed to provide protection, must be worn, at all times when mounted by anyone, whether or not a Competitor, at a British Showjumping competition. Harnesses must be properly adjusted and fastened at all times when mounted. When jumping, including warming up, all Competitors must wear ‘Protective Headwear’ i.e. a hat which meets one of the following standards: British: PAS 015 (2011) and European VG01.040 2014-12, provided they are BSI Kitemarked or Inspec IC Marked. ALL RIDDEN CLASS COMPETITORS must wear a hard hat to the current BSI and EU standard.
Body Protectors - It is recommended that competitors involved in jumping wear a body protector of the appropriate BSI and EU standard.
8. FIRST AID: A levy of £4.00 will be charged per competitor towards the cost of First Aid provision.

SAFETY FIRST
To the General Public
In the interests of safety please keep out of the horse walks, Collecting Rings and working in areas which have all been signed. Crossing points have been provided across the horse walks at regular intervals.
To Owners / Exhibitors / Riders / Competitors
Due to the rigid safely regulations laid down by the Health and Safety Executive, you are strongly requested to take great care when moving horses on the Showground and remain within designated horse areas. Competitors who fail to do so may be asked to leave the Showground. The Organisers of this Show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
Grooms and other helpers other than the person leading the horse or pony who fail to comply with stewards requests to leave the horse walk may be subject to disqualification.
