The ride is approximately eight miles long in the beautiful surroundings of Windsor Great Park. It will include various optional jumps; all of which can be easily ridden round by those preferring to enjoy a ride in some exclusive countryside, without jumping. There is an optional water crossing.
1. All riders must wear hard hats/crash helmets to PAS 015 (2011) / VGI with BSI Kitemark. Body protectors are recommended. We do request that riders wear medical arm bands but they are not obligatory.

3. By entering the ride, riders confirm that they and their horse are sufficiently competent to take part. The Organisers reserve the right to ask any combination of rider and horse found to be behaving in a reckless or unsafe manner to leave.
4. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
5. Children under the age of 12 must be escorted by an adult.
6. Riders must not deviate from the course under any circumstances.
7. The Organisers, Staff College Drag Hunt Ltd, the volunteers, the land owners and all persons involved with the running of the ride, disclaim all liability for any damage or injury to any person or property, howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, riders confirm that they hold appropriate public liability insurance for themselves and their horse.
8. Riders agree to comply with all instructions from any of the Organisers or stewards. The decision of the Organisers on any matter shall be final.
9. Should the event be cancelled due to inclement weather or due to reasons beyond the control of the Organiser, refunds will be issued less a £5.00 administration levy.
10. Equine Influenza Requirements: All horses and ponies attending must have had their first 2 vaccinations of the course and/or a booster within the last 12 months. 6 monthly boosters are recommended. Passports will be checked.
11. By entering the Royal Windsor Fun Ride, riders and their associates agree to these Rules and Conditions of Entry.
