PLEASE NOTE that all warm up will be in the indoor arena with dressage tests being ridden in the outdoor arena.
British Dressage tests will be judged under BD rules, with the exception that Class 1 may be ridden in ‘any normal riding bit’ that would comply with Pony Club rules. Further information can be found on the British Dressage website http://www.britishdressage.co.uk/homepage
Please check the rules carefully, particularly for correct bitting.
Rosettes will be awarded to 6th place.
RULES
· Any person wishing to compete at this Competition who is not a Pony Club member will not be covered for personal liability by Pony Club insurance and should therefore arrange their own insurance. Please note that members of an affiliated Riding Club are not covered by Riding Club Insurance at a Pony Club Event.
· A riding hat must be worn correctly fastened when mounted. Pony Club members must wear a hat that conforms with Pony Club hat rule (Rule 14) and is tagged with a Pony Club hat tag. Non members are strongly advised to wear a riding hat that meets Pony Club standards.
· Neither the organiser, or any person acting on their behalf, accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.
· The organiser of the event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For those measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and the officials and stewards.
· Horses and ponies must be 4 yrs and over
· Dogs to be kept on leads at all times
· Foul language or abuse of horses will not be tolerated and will result in immediate elimination
· Class sizes are limited and entries taken on a first come first served basis.
· Judge’s decision is final.
