Notes

This clinc is for sessions of an hour with Tia in groups of no more than 4 riders.  Derby Collge is a great indoor facility and we have use of the entire indoor arena, with good parking and easy access.  Once you have booked on the clinis we will ask for details about what you want from the clinic to enable Tia to group people accordingly and provide flat, pole or jump coaching as best fits each group.

Tia Lewis Bio

Tia is a young event rider currently competing at intermediate/2* on her own former racehorse whom she had straight out of the race yard and retrained herself.  She has a deep passion for ex-racehorses and part of her ethos is to help others enjoy and give these wonderful animals a life after racing.

Tia currently has 2 ex-racehorses, Sonny who she has had for 9 years and is her top event horse.  She also recently acquired Harry, who is at the start of his journey.  Tia has several clients with their own ex-racehorses whom she is helping along their own journey, so is well placed to be an RoR coach.

Tia has a wealth of experience within the equine industry having ridden for over 22 years and has been running her own sucessful business for 4 years.  She is a BHSAI with BHS Stage 4 event riding, she is moving swiftly through the coaching exam structure.  She has a very sympathetic and holistic approach to coaching and encourages everyone to join in the journey and pass on her knowledge and to learn more herself.  Her aim is to deliver fun, productive sessions with the maingoal of building both the horses and riders confidence and for them to develop a solid partnership built on strong foundations of education.  She will provide positive and construtive feedback for you to take away and work on at home.  Tia has said she is looking forward to being a part of the RoR educational programme and to share your journeys with your former racehorses.
