Each rider/handler receive two wristbands onto the show field. If you need more wristbands please purchase these seperatly via Horse Monkey.

  3. The organisers reserves the right to refuse any entry.
  4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate any classes.
  5. The organisers accept no responsibility for loss

General Rules

  2. It is the exhibitors responsibility to check if the show is still taking place due to bad weather.
  3. The organisers reserves the right to refuse any entry.
  4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate any classes.
  5. The organisers accept no responsibility for loss or damage, injury or accident to spectators, exhibitors’ or riders or their property as a result of attending this show. Please take appropriate care to prevent such accident or loss to yourselves and others.
  6. The decision of the judge is final.
  7. Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted or handling horses. Minimum standard PAS 015 (1998, 2001 or 2011) and VG1 01.040 (2014-12) all with BSI Kitemark.
  8. Objections or protest must be made in writing to the secretary accompanied by a fee of £25 which may be forfeited to the show funds in the event of the objection being over ruled.
  9. No litter is to be left on the show ground. CLEANING OUT OF HORSE BOXES AND TRAILERS IS     STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
  10. Under no circumstances is any animal to be exhibited under a judge who is known to have bred,   leased, sold or produced.
  11. All grooms entering the ring must be correctly dressed and must wear a hat in the ring (standard above).
  12. Lead Rein competitors must be aged 3yo and over and lead rein must be fixed to the nose band. Snaffles only in lead rein classes.
  13. No spurs allowed in Equitation classes.
  14. No horse or pony to be left unattended tied outside a horsebox/trailer. 
  15. Whips not to exceed 75cms (30inc).
  16. Due to vehicle (4 ton axle) weight restrictions on the show ground please can we ask all competitors, where possible, to arrive in a 4x4 and trailer or 3.5 ton horse box. Vehicles which appear to be overweight will be weighed and may be turned away.
  17. The organisers retain the right to ask any rider to dismount if they are considered too heavy for the horse or pony being ridden.
  18. May I remind everyone to please to please travel your horse/pony with their passport, it's the law (spot inspections may occur).
  19. Colts and stallions must correctly bitted only be handled by anyone 18yo or over and must be identified with a ribbon in the tail and/or a bridle badge. 
  20. Mistreatment of any animal on the show ground will not be tolerated, the competitor/handler may be asked to leave the show ground.
  21. Dogs must be kept on a lead AT ALL TIMES and cleaned up after. Barking dogs will be asked to be taken to a quiet place away from horses/ponies.
  22. No canter/galloping outside of the competition and warm up rings. 
  23. No lunging anywhere on the show ground.

 

Horses and ponies are not to come onto the field if their flu injections are not up to date. Only horses and ponies who receive their yearly booster or horses/ponies who are restarting (must be 7days or more after their 2nd injection) will be permitted onto the show field. We may ask to see their passport to check their vaccination record.
