Rules & Regulations
All competitors are bound by the following rules and regulations whilst at the GBPRE National Championship Show 2022.
1. GBPRE Ltd does not accept any liability for the loss of or damage to property at the show
2. GBPRE LTD will take all precautions to ensure health and safety of everyone at the showground. You must follow any instructions given to you by an official GBPRE organiser or Steward and you must take have due regard for the safety of others
3. All horses must be registered with the appropriate breed society in order to compete in breed restricted classes. All horses must be correctly registered in the UK.
4. If you wish to take advantage of a member discount for GBPRE or LBSGB then you must be a member of the relevant association on the dates of the show.
5. GBPRE Ltd reserves the right to refuse entries for any reason. If horses are withdrawn for any reason there is no entitlement to a refund of entry or associated costs.
6. You must wear a hard hat at all times whilst riding unless you are preparing for or competing in a Traditional Turnout Class or the Parade.
7. GBPRE Ltd reserves the right to change classes, judges, and times as circumstances dictate. We may also merge or split classes due to entries.
8. The judge’s decision is final in all cases.
9. If you wish to object to a decision you must see the Show Secretary within an hour of the incident occurring to make and official complaint.
10. All horses, particularly stallion and colts, must be exhibited in correctly fitted, appropriate tack.
11. Horses that cannot be adequately controlled or riders and handlers who act in a manner an official GBPRE Organiser finds inappropriate may be asked to leave with no refund of costs. This includes excessive whipping or spurring of horses or shouting in and outside the show ring.
12. GBPRE Ltd does not accept any liability for accident, injury, damage or loss whatsoever caused to any person, animal or property at any time.
13. All persons enter these classes and premises at their own risk.
14. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
15. Horses must not be tied to horseboxes or trailers and left unattended at any time.
16. All horses must have up to date flu vaccinations, with 7 clear days since their last injection.
17. Horses who have tested positive for EVA are not permitted on the premises.
18. If you do not leave any hired stable in a clean state you will lose your £10 deposit.
