Caledonian Showing Championships
This show is a qualifier for the Caledonian Showing Championships, offering competitors the opportunity to compete at a top level Championship Final in Scotland. With a draped main arena, amazing rosettes, special prizes, music, Judges from the south and atmospheric Evening Performances, this is the show everyone wants to be part of, and has grown and grown, so for 2022 is now running as a three-day show.
This year’s show will be held at Highfield @ Howe, near Ladybank, Fife on 14/15/16 October
Every horse and pony placed 1st in all In-hand and Ridden showing classes (not fun classes) and Working Hunter Horse and Pony classes will qualify to compete in any appropriate class at the Finals. All Champions and Reserves will qualify for the Champion and Reserves Stakes Finals. Qualifications will be from placings; no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring and no qualification can go down the line.
All qualified horses and ponies will be listed on the Caledonian Showing Championship Show’s website www.caledonianchampionships.webs.com (and soon to come www.caledonianchampionships.co.uk) where you will also find a regularly updated list of qualifying shows and a wealth of other information.
TSR NAF Five Star Showing Finals
This show is a qualifier for the 2022 TSR NAF Five Star Showing Finals. All In Hand an Ridden classes are qualifiers. You DO NOT have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! The four highest placed handlers/riders will qualify in each class. Competitors MUST have their qualification record sheet signed by a judge/steward/secretary; sheets are available FREE from the TSR website.

Summer Show Rules and General Information

3. A horse or pony may not compete more than once in any class (Clear Round excluded).
4. All competitors must have at least third-party liability insurance.
5. All hats must conform to the most recent safety requirements.
6. All hats must be correctly fastened when riders are mounted. Random hat checks may be carried out.
7. All children under 16 years of age must be under the supervision of a responsible adult. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
8. It is your responsibility to clear up all mess and/or rubbish (organic and inorganic) around your trailer/lorry before you leave. Thank you!
9. A photographer will be on site to cover the event throughout the day. More details will be given over the tannoy on the day of the show.
10. Hot and cold drinks, homemade food and delicious homebaking will be available to buy throughout the day!
11. All timings of classes are approximate and whilst every effort is made to prevent classes overlapping, the show committee cannot accept
responsibility for anyone missing his or her class or classes or entering the wrong class (entry fee will not be refunded).
12. There will be breaks included at an appropriate point or points between classes in any of the show rings. Information will be given via the tannoy
and at the relevant ringside board.
13. The judge’s decision is final.
14. Please bring your own water buckets with you and where possible, filled water containers. Whilst it will be possible for you to fill a water bucket on
site, all water troughs will be covered and inaccessible. Please refer to the Code of Conduct for vistors to MRT Events on our website at

15. In the unlikely event that the Summer Show has to be cancelled, an email will be issued immediately to all competitors and a recorded message
will be available from 18.00 hrs on the day prior to the show (telephone number 01620 842502). Please note this is the only contact
number that will be available. Muirfield Riding Therapy Summer Show Committee would make every endeavour to reschedule the show in the
event of cancellation.
16. Equine passports for all visiting horses and ponies must be available for inspection. Your horse or pony’s passport must clearly show proof of a complete equine influenza vaccination course and regular annual boosters. Checks will be carried out on the day of the show. You will be aware that under the Horse Identification (Scotland) Regulations 2009 your horse or pony’s passport must accompany the animal when it moves anywhere, including to shows and competitions. Failure to do so is a fineable offence.
