Carriage Driving & Long Reining Fun Day May 15th 2021

Carriage Driving & Long Reining Fun Day BDS North of Scotland Area 39 members and neighbouring BDS members because this location is right on the border of Highland and Moray Council areas. Non Members who are future potential BDS members may also enter too.  The event is open to All and All level Experienced driver, keen long reiner, thinking of getting started in driving. Fun & full day of activities with experienced trainers. Including training to drive workshop, handy pony style spook busting challenge and a cones course. All levels of ability and stages, long rein and or driven. All bookings and payments must be done using Horse Monkey Website This event is organised by Assistant Area Commissioner's for Area 39, Gill Challis and Staphanie Hoyle. Teresa MacLeod, UKCC2 Driving Coach, Racheal Stewart RDA driving coach will be available on hand to assist in each challenge Costs for full day is £40, which includes arena hire, there will also be a £5 surcharge for non members to cover the cost of using the BDS Event public liability insurance.   It is also possible to do long reining instead of driven, especially for those wanting to get started in carriage driving   There will be no food or catering on site, so please bring a picnic. Dogs will only be allowed if they are kept inside the vehicle.   All government Covid protocols to be adhered to and no spectators or public allowed, only organisers, drivers and grooms will be allowed on site.   Please take all litter home and lift all horse poo and traces of hay and anything else.   Please do not socialise or gather in groups or visit with other participants UNLESS it is within Government Covid Guidelines.
