Harbro Mini Series XC FINAL

Most fences will be rustic knock down style fences but there may be some fixed XC fences. Body Protectors to current BE standard must be worn, skull caps must be worn – FIXED PEAKS are NOT ALLOWED. Whip use: excessive use of the whip, including repeated slapping down the shoulder, is prohibited. The whip may be used a maximum of three times during any round. Use of the whip will be monitored and excessive use may result in elimination at the discretion of the judges. Schooling/dressage whips are not allowed. Hair must be above the collar and long hair secured in a hair net. Piercings must be removed. The competition will run as follows • Riders will jump a short XC course on grass. (it may move to become indoor XC if ground conditions do not allow) • There will be jumping penalties and an optimum time but no time penalties. The competitor with the fewest jumping penalties and closest to the optimum time wins.
