Notes
Chislehurst & Rushmore EC and Downe Livery Stables are pleased to welcome Jenny Snowdon, BHSAI, TREC GB accredited trainer, judge and Technical Delegate for TREC obstacle training.
There will be a range of different TREC obstacles such as bending poles, s-bend and rein back. This session is open to all, from those experienced in TREC to complete newcomers.
Sessions will held in the field and will approximately 1 and a half hours for 6 riders, giving you the chance to hone your skills ready for Sunday’s competition. Timings will be adjusted accordingly for smaller groups (e.g. 4 riders = approximately 1 hour).
Discounted rates apply for CREC members.
Please note, this venue is inside the LEZ.

• Each adult rider may only bring one spectator and we ask that if you can come alone, you do.
• Riders under 18 may bring up to 2 spectators/helpers if required. Please keep this number to an absolute minimum.

DO NOT attend if you have a temperature, cough, any loss of taste or other COVID-19 symptoms. Do not attend if you have been in contact with anyone with symptoms in the last 7 days.
• Government guidelines on social distancing and face coverings must be adhered to.
• Anyone not complying with these rules will be required to leave the venue immediately and will not receive any refund.
Equine Flu Requirements:
• All horses must be up to date with equine flu vaccinations (12 month cycle).
• Evidence must be submitted prior to the event via crecevents@outlook.com
Tack Requirements/Rider clothing and equipment:
• Tack must be in good condition, well fitting and suitable for controlling your horse in an open field.
• Fixed/standing martingales and other fixed reins are forbidden.
• Riders are expected to wear clothing that is suitable and practical for riding out in the countryside (e.g. riding boots with a small heel, covered shoulders).
• Rider helmet conforming to BRC rules is required.
• Body protectors are recommended.
• Whips must not exceed 75cm in length.
• Spurs, if worn, must not exceed 3cm, must be rounded and must point downwards .
