COMPETITION & ENTRY RULES & NOTES:
All riders must have public liability Insurance, valid on the day of the event. BHS Gold Membership ensures appropriate cover. Non-BHS Gold Members must provide appropriate evidence of cover. YOU WILL BE ASKED FOR DETAILS ON THE ON-LINE ENTRY SYSTEM.

The scoring of the competition will be in accordance with BD rules for Combined Training EXCEPT for class 1 ONLY which will be resulted on percentage less SJ faults with highest percentage after faults subtracted to win. See rule 130 on page 131 of the British Dressage Members Handbook.

Safety
Correct dress must be worn for all classes and competitions.
Riding hats MUST be worn at all times when mounted and we strongly advise that current BETA class 3 2009 body protectors be worn. Riding Hats must bear a CE mark with either the BSI Kite mark or the SAI Global symbol OR SNELL E2001. A CE symbol on its own is not acceptable. The PAS 015;1998 or 2010 and the SNELL E2001 meet higher impact criteria and therefore offer more protection. Failure to abide by this rule will result in elimination from the competition as a whole.
Long Hair must be tied back and preferably in a hairnet.
No jewellery to be worn when mounted other than one ring and a watch.
Riders to pass left hand to left hand where possible in the warm-up arena.
No walking or halting on the outside track.
NO lungeing or galloping in the warm-up arena.
Cars, Lorries & Trailers must be parked in the allocated car parks.
Only 5 riders permitted in the warm-up arena at any time.
