High Peak Riding Club reserve the right to decline entries once this event is full. Refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled by the club. We can not reproduce copies of test for members, but these can all be purchased from British Dressage website.


Class Rules

The restricted classes are intended for inexperienced, novice competitors. Entries are at the discretion of the HPRC committee. There may be an allowance on these rules subject to a discussion and final decision by HPRC committee. If you require any help or advice regarding which class to enter please speak to a committee member.

Class 1) Open to combinations who have not previously achieved a score of over 63% at prelim level or above. Not open to any horse or rider (both individually and as a combination) that has any BD points or has previously competed at novice or above. It is anticipated that upon winning this class the same combination will not re-enter this class at subsequent competitions. This class is for novice riders and not experienced riders regardless of the horse they are riding. For clarification please speak to a committee member.
Class 2) Open to combinations that do not have BD points and have not previously achieved a score of 67% at prelim level or above.
Class 3) Open to combinations that do not have BD points and have not previously achieved a score of over 67% at prelim level or above. It is anticipated that upon winning this class the same combination will not re-enter this class at subsequent competitions.
Class 4) Open to combinations who have not previously achieved a score of over 70% at novice level.
Class 5) Open to all.
Class 6) Open to all.

General rules and regulations:

Seniors and Juniors will be only be placed separately if there are six or more Juniors in the class.
HPRC points awarded for all competing members and volunteers, you must be a member at the time of competition to collect points.
All events will run in accordance with British Dressage rules.
Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted and comply to one of the following current 2017 hat standards. PAS 015 1998 & 2011 with kite mark, VG1 with Kite mark, SNELL E2001 with Snell mark & number, ASTM-F1163 with SEI mark and AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 and 2006.
LIABILITY- The organizers or anyone acting on their behalf accept no liability whatsoever for loss, injury or damage to any animal, property, person or vehicle how so ever caused.
Entries close at 6pm on Monday evening prior to competition, NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED AFTER THIS
Absolutely no entries accepted without correct fee AND ENTRY SLIP.
Entry fees for all classes. £10.00 for HPRC members or £12.00 for non-members.
HPRC are unable to refund any entry fees once an entry has been submitted unless the event is cancelled by HPRC.
Times available to view on HPRC Facebook page on the Thursday night prior to competition.
Entries to: Casey Dorman or hand deliver to any HPRC committee members. Cheques payable to High Peak Riding Club or via PayPal (Information regarding PayPal process on HPRC Facebook page in files and HPRC website).
In the event of a competition being oversubscribed priority will be given to members and after that on a first served basis.
