ENTRIES HAVE NOW CLOSED - Contact the organisers to enquire about spaces in the Elem/Med Pick Your Own class. The competition is open to members and non-members and has sections in the intro and 1st prelim for juniors, with Ryburn Valley Pony Club members entering for the same price as CSC members. Points will be allocated to rider/horse combinations with the champion and reserves being awarded at the end of the series. Our aim is to provide a relaxed environment for horse and rider, from beginners to the more experienced. RULES : 1. HATS must be worn, correctly secured, by all riders whether competitors or not. The current BRC standard states that hats which carry the EN 1384 or BSEN 1384 alone are not acceptable. Hats must carry one of the following standards: PAS015 (1998 or 2011) along with the BSI kite mark SEI – ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a), SNELL E2001, AS/NZS 3838 (2006) SAI Body protectors allowed. 2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the HEALTH & SAFETY of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials or stewards. Entries are made entirely at your own risk. No liability can be accepted for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders or any other person or property howsoever caused. 3. The organisers and committee reserve the right to alter or cancel any class at their discretion. 4. The judge’s decision is final. 5. To be run in accordance with BD rules and BRC Rules, in particular "no member or competitor shall argue, behave with incivility or contempt, or use abusive or threatening language towards a judge, official or other competitor" BD rules can be found on www.britishdressage.co.uk BRC rules can be found on www.calderdalesaddleclub.co.uk 6. No entry fees will be refunded after the closing date. 7. NO lunging in the working in arena. 8. No Dogs allowed. 9. Points System: 1 point per class entered. Places: 1st– 6 points, 2nd– 5, 3rd– 4, 4th– 3 5th– 2, 6th– 1 Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) Riding Club Challenge RoR eligible competitors will, in addition to the main competition, be eligible for the RoR / RC Challenge Rosette. Points will be awarded as follows and the competitor with the most points in each eligible competition will win the Challenge Rosette. Points will also be accumulated over all dressage shows in 2018/2019 with a chance of winning a series trophy.
