RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Withdrawal: Before the closing date – full refund. After the closing date

2. A “Riding hat” designed to provide protection, must be worn at all times
when mounted by anyone, whether or not they are a competitor, at a BD
competition, including exercising, warming up and competing.
Protective hats must meet one of the following standards;
It is strongly recommended that members wear hats bearing the BSI
Kitemark in addition to the published safety standard. Harnesses must be
correctly fastened always whilst mounted. Competitors are strongly
recommended to check their hats regularly.
Protective hats must meet one of the following standards; British – All
PAS 015 European – VG1, EN1384 -2017 American – SEI ASTM F1163
04a onwards and SNELL E2001 and E2016 Australian & New Zealand –
AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards. In accordance with BD Rules.
3. The Judge’s decision is final.
4. The Organiser has the right to;

a) Refuse any entry with or without reason
b) Eliminate any competitor not adhering to the rules
c) Alter the advised times
5. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times
6. No lunging allowed in the warm up arena.
7. Run under BD rules.
8. No responsibility can be taken by the organisers for any accident or
damage to competitors, attendants, animals, spectators, or their property,
or vehicles of any description. The Organisers do not accept liability for
any damage, whether occasioned by the negligence or breach of contract
or statutory duty of themselves, their servants, agents, employees or
otherwise or whosoever.
9. Warm up only in designated area.
10. It is the responsibility of the competitor to report to the steward on time
for your test.
11. No horse or pony under the age of four years may compete.
12. Please do not leave animals tied to trailers with hay nets. Please pick up
all your muck etc before leaving. Show less
