Coaches CPD - Children, Parents and Performance

A practical and classroom based CPD session for coaches working with children and young people. Timings of the day approximately 1.00 - 6.00pm. Cost: £45 for members and £50 for non-members. • Identify children’s motives for taking part in sport and riding and the implications for coaching • Identify coaching effectiveness in a youth setting. • Identify development models in sport and the implication for coaches, children and their parents • Establish positive strategies for working with parents and enabling a positive involvement with their children in sport • Recognise appropriate distances for ponies • Identify what makes coaching effective for young people in groups • Observe good practice in organisation and delivery of coaching young people in groups To book a place please click the 'services' tab as opposed to 'classes.'
