THURS Children's Group Lessons at Ivanhoe Equestrian

A group lesson for young riders, aged 6 - 12 years old. Ideal for building confidence, brushing up on skills before Pony Club camps, getting to know your new pony or just to enjoy riding with other children of a similar age/ability! We will do a mixture of ride order flatwork, poles, small jumps and gymkhana games every week, with the emphasis on FUN as well as learning or refining riding skills and knowledge beased around the Pony Club system. I completed my UKCC3 through The Pony Club and have been teaching young riders of all ages and abilities full time for 15 years through the old riding school at Ivanhoe, and still coach rallies for several local Pony Club branches. Maximum 6 riders. Riders must all be confident and in control in walk and trot with no leader, but some assistance can be given with canter. A parent/guardian must be in the arena viewing gallery for the duration of the lesson. Ponies must be of a suitable size/experience/fitness for a group lesson.
