Dressage Ride, Teach, Compete

Open to all juniors and seniors. Juniors (17yrs and under) must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts and priority entry to STRC members. Please enter your 2017/18 membership number when prompted. Non-members please enter 00. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ideal for anyone who wants some help with their dressage in a competition setting in a friendly, relaxed, supportive environment. - Ride your chosen test from a choice of Intro A (2008), Prelim 1 (2006), Prelim 14 (2006) and Novice 27 (2007) and receive feedback from the judge straight away, - Choose to get assistance from the highly recommended BHSAI Jade Paterson on improving the areas you need to work on or work away on your own, - Re-ride your test to see if you can improve your score. The second set of tests ridden will be scored as a competition and rosettes awarded. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Riders may choose to enter either one or both of: - Test with feedback - Test as competition 20min sessions with Jade are only available for those who also enter Test with Feedback. Each test and the instructor session must be entered separately on Horse Monkey. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SPLIT, MERGE OR CANCEL ANY CLASSES AS NECESSARY. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ INSTRUCTOR SESSIONS: Sessions with Jade are only available for those who also enter one of classes 1 - 4. Each sessions will last 20mins and are limited so get in quick. Riders must be ready and know what they want to work on (max 3 movements). STRC members will be given priority. A wait list will apply if required. You will receive an email to let you know whether you have been allocated a place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DRESS CODE: All Competitors are requested to wear either smart Competition dress or STRC club top with light coloured jodphurs. All riders must ensure they are wearing a hard hat, fastened, at all times when mounted and this must be at least PAS 015 or BSEN 1384 standard and appropriate footwear. All tack must be BD legal. Only competitors are permitted to ride in the arena. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All riders ride at their own risk. Riders who fall off during the event must be deemed fit to continue riding and if they wish to do so they do it entirely at their own risk. HORSES/PONIES MUST BE 4 YEARS OR OVER. Neither the organizers of this event, nor any person acting on their behalf, the owners of the show ground or the agents acting on their behalf, accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Times available 48hrs prior to event.
