Summer Tilting Competition

Come along and join us for our last Tilting Competition of this membership year, the Summer Tilting Competition. There will be two classes. Both classes are open to adults and juniors. Juniors (under 18s) must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please state if Junior in the secretaries notes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CLASSES: Novice – Tilting in Walk/Trot however only rings lifted at a TROT will be counted. Open – Tilting in Trot/Canter however only rings lifted at a CANTER will be counted. THE COMPETITION: The competition will be run over 24 rings, done in 2 groups of 12 with a break in the middle. Two competitors can share one horses as long as you notify us beforehand. Open to both members and non-members. All riders must have tilted AT LEAST ONCE to enter. Members: £15 Non-Members: £20 DRESS CODE: All Competitors are requested to wear smart Competition/ Show dress where possible. All riders must ensure they are wearing a hard hat, fastened, at all times when mounted and this must be at least PAS 015 or BSEN 1384 standard and appropriate footwear. Only competitors are permitted to ride in the competition area and warmup. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIZES: Rosettes will be awarded from 1st to 6th in each class. In the event two riders have the same final score for any positions they shall ride of at smaller rings to determine the final placings. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Members will receive their discount when they put their correct 2016/17 membership number in when promoted for the Venue/Organiser number. Both Classes MUST be pre-entered to allow us to organise groups. Refunds will only be available if the event is cancelled. Entries close: WEDNESDAY 23th Aug @ 11pm Estimated times published 48hours prior to event. Late entries accepted if entries allow at £3 additional fee.
