Notes

Open to Teams that have qualified at their Area Grassroots Show Jumping Competition, members can be of any age with any size of horse or pony. Rider must never previously have represented their Branch or Centre at Pony Club Novice level or above in Dressage, Show Jumping or Eventing Combination to have no BS recorded results at 90cm or above The competition will consist of 3 rounds jumped over a full course in two arena, all teams to jump twice followed by a timed jump off against the clock if required – riders may NOT walk the 3rd round See main Pony Club website for full rules Team 1st – 6th & Individual Rosettes: 1st – 10th Place, sashes and trophies. Prizes in kind presented by Land Rover and Equiboodle. Rosettes for Tack & Turn Out 1st – 6th for team and individuals.

2. Each District Commissioner is required to certify the eligibility of each horse and rider

5. Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor.
6. No horse or pony may be ridden more than once in each class.
7. Please note that no commanders are allowed in Class 1
8. Spurs may be worn by full B test holders (please wear appropriate felt) or with the permission of the relevant District Commissioner. Written proof of this permission must be carried and presented at the tack check.
9. No horse/pony under the age of 4 years may compete in the Dressage. No horse/pony under the age of 5 may compete in the Show Jumping.

Entries
1. Telephone entries or entries without the appropriate fee will not be accepted.
2. In the event of cancellation, £5 of the entry fee will be retained to defray costs. Please send a SAE in the event of cancellation for the remaining entry fee to be returned.
3. After the relevant closing date no substitution may be made of horses or riders except in the case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified in writing by the relevant District Commissioner to the secretary. No substitutions can be made after the competition has started.

Rider and Public Safety
1. All hats must have a certified Pony Club tag. This will be checked by the secretary before a competitor number is issued.
2. When not competing all horses/ponies must be kept to the horse box park or collecting rings. They must not be exercised in the car/lorry park, or among spectators. No lungeing in the lorry park. Horses/ponies tied to trailers or lorries must not be left unattended.
3. All dogs should be kept on a short lead at all times. The owner of a loose dog will be fined £20 with proceeds donated to the Air Ambulance. Please clean up after your dog.

Event Liability
1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these
bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
