Notes

Henry is a qualified BHSII who trained at Windmill Hill Riding Academy and, Moreton Morrell where he obtained an Equine Business Management Degree. Henry is Senior Mentor for Controllers at British Eventing as well as a Freelance Instructor. Throughout his career, he has always been very keen to clear up the confusion surrounding training horses and riders – Especially Equestrian expressions that actually mean nothing but we all use them. For instance, what does “on the bit” mean? What is the difference between Rhythm and Tempo what is a hard and soft rein as opposed to a hard and soft side? What is engagement? Through a variety of demonstrations this course has been designed to take people through the basics and progress to new levels. This is a 1 day course but there are 2 option days available. Monday 30th January 9.30 - 4.15pm Tuesday 31st January 9.30 - 4.15pm Please Note this is also a CPD Day for Instructors
