• Whilst every care is taken, NJF Show takes no responsibility or liability for any accident or injury caused to horses, ponies Dogs or competitors/spectators or any property whatsoever. We would ask all competitors/spectators to conduct themselves in a way not to cause any incidents.
• The decision of the judge on the day, in all classes, will be final.
• Competitors must be correctly dressed in all classes. Correctly fitted current BS riding hats must be worn at all times. PAS 015 will be acceptable for the 2016 season.
• Unless otherwise stated, all in hand classes allow mares, geldings, stallions colts and fillies. Ridden classes allow mares, geldings and stallions four years old and over.
• Excessive use of whips is forbidden. Whips must not exceed 30".
• Excessive use of spurs is forbidden, spurs must be blunt and turned down they must not be turned in. The lower age limit for wearing spurs is 15 and no spurs are allowed at all in the Junior Novice events.
• Cantering anywhere on the show ground, except in the practice rings, is prohibited. Any rider found jumping in a ring not in use will be eliminated from classes in which they are competing.
• No other jumps, except the practice jumps, may be used.
• Any competitor arguing or disputing any Judge, Steward or any other competitors will be barred from taking part in any further classes in that day’s programme.
• Well behaved Stallions and Colts are allowed on the rounds to compete in appropriate classes, and must be bitted. All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring and be competently ridden or handled. Minimum age of handler 16 years.
• Late entries will not be taken once the list of competitors has left the Secretary Show less
