Terms & conditions
XC and the XC section of the ODE are seperate qualifers for the Eland horse trails.
Number of fences, length of course and times for all classes will be on display on the day.
Please provide your own bib and the relevant paper numbers (front and back).
All classes are open to non-members.

No hat cameras allowed.
No fixed peak hats to be worn on the Cross Country.
Please see Rule 16 (page 30) regarding faults incurred during the Show Jumping phase and eligibility to commence the Cross Country. - ODE only
Competitors having a fall, in any phase, will incur elimination. They may not remount until they have been checked by a First Aider, when, if fit, they may be allowed to continue (except after a fall in the Cross Country phase). In any case it is recommended that you are checked by a First Aider before leaving the Showground.
Protective headgear to the current standard (no fixed peak hats). Body protectors to the required standard. It is recomended that medical armbands be worn on cross country course.
Whips must be to current standards - no greater than 75cm or less than 45cm in length, unweighted baton style with a flat surface, and used in accordance with British Riding Clubs 2024 rules.
Whiskers: It is not permitted to remove a horse’s whiskers or ear hair.
You are permitted to do the XC pairs and 1 other XC class, however you can not complete in the ODE and do XC on the same day.
Refund policy
In the event of cancellation by Wilmslow Riding Club, all entries will be refunded or upon receipt of medical or veterinary evidence if you/horse are unable to compete.
