Our dressage competitions run throughout the day in the following order:

Additional Classes (Held Throughout the Day)
- Freestyle to Music – Points Class
Open to all levels, when booking please detail your ridden level in the booking notes. Music must be sent over via email prior to the competition taking place.
Please note: test sheets will only be available after the final competitor has completed their test.
- Non-Competitive Classes
This class provides a valuable opportunity to ride in front of a judge without the pressure of competition.
Riders may select any of the 2024 BD tests, when booking please detail your selected test in the booking notes.
Ideal for training or introducing a horse to the competition environment.
Alternative tack that does not comply with British Dressage (BD) rules is permitted.

Craven Arena Winter Dressage Series 2025–2026
We are delighted to announce the return of the Craven Arena Winter Dressage Series – a much-loved tradition that keeps riders and horses motivated, inspired, and connected throughout the colder months.
Whether you’re just starting your dressage journey or already competing at higher levels, our winter series is designed for everyone. Expect a friendly, supportive atmosphere where you can enjoy the sport, develop your skills, and celebrate progress alongside fellow riders.
With seven competitions scheduled from September through March, plus a special prize-giving evening with a guest appearance, this series offers the perfect mix of fun, challenge, and community. From Intro tests to Medium level, including Freestyle to Music and non-competitive training opportunities, there’s something for every rider and horse.

Riders will collect points at each competition which contribute towards the Winter Series League Table.
Best Turned Out (BTO): 1 point
1st place: 6 points
2nd place: 5 points
3rd place: 4 points
4th place: 3 points
5th place: 2 points
Each entry into a points class: 1 point

Entry Fee: £15 per Horse and rider combination
Once entered the horse and rider combination cannot be changed, an additional number will be allocated to the new horse and rider combination.
Horses may be included in up to 2 Horse and rider combination.
Riders may enter with multiple different horse combinations.
