An amateur is a person who for the purpose of RoR classes does not/has not during the current season or previous season:
Engage (d) in breeding, livery, buying or selling, dealing or hiring horses in a commercial capacity.
Horses must not have been stabled at or reside in a Professional Producer's/Trainer's yard from January 1st 2022
Riders must not have ridden any animals produced by a Professional/Trainer in the current or previous season.
Horses and riders must not receive any help from a Professional Producer/Trainer at a SHOW in the current season.

All entries MUST be have current RoR competition registration and have RACED in GB. The class will be run under the rules of RoR. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force.
Competitors must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap.
Racing injuries and blemishes are NOT ignored in this series.
To take part in this class, horses must NOT have won: a ridden open class under any affiliated showing society including (inc SEIB/HOYS, BSHA, SHB(GB) BSPS, BSPA, Tattersalls RoR Open Show Series Qualifier, TARRA Ridden, RoR AMATEUR Ridden Show Series Qualifier or any other open class except Tattersalls (TBA) RoR Challenge Show Series or other Working Hunter type classes. Unaffiliated Show wins are not taken into account.

Horses may remain in the Tattersalls RoR Novice Ridden Show Series (Formerly RoR Jockey Club Novice Show Series) classes until they have won (win) three Tattersalls RoR Novice Show Series Qualifiers. · If a rider has a fall from their horse they must be seen by one of the designated medical staff.
The Blenheim Estate is a World Heritage Site, please respect this.
· All dogs must be kept on leads.
· Bridle numbers are not supplied please bring your own.
· The competitor number must be clearly visible in the windscreen of the lorry/towing vehicle at all times.
· No horses may be left unattended outside lorries/trailers.
· No hay nets may be tied to the outside of lorries/trailers.
· All droppings must be removed from the lorry park immediately. Bins are provided.
· When mounted, all competitors must use the designated horse walks and crossing points. Failure to do so will result in elimination.
· Parking is limited. Follow instructions issued by the parking stewards at all times.
· Abuse of stewards, officials, volunteers, trainers and fellow competitors will not be tolerated. Any person disobeying these rules may result in elimination.
